Back track to our trek...

Its been about 3 weeks since we came back from a trek. That also mean, 3 weeks of inhaling pollution, 3 weeks of the noise pollution on the roads and 3 weeks of uncertainties in the capital...

About the trek...
We had a great time knowing more about the culture and also interacting with the locals especially for Loong who has great opportunities to practice his language with the porter and guide.

The 1st day as we set off together with a family of 3, shortly leaving the valley, we were stuck. Not knowing for what reason at first we simply waited thinking it could be an accident or traffic jam...etc Afterwhich, we found out due to an accident earlier in the wee morning... the villagers called for a closure of the road.

We were on the bus for 5hours which means we could have reached our destination if not for the closure of the road. Not knowing what time will it open, our guide decided to get us out of the bus and walked to the other end of the closed road. It was an excellent moved.

We walked for 45mins and we hoped on a van and there we head to our 1st destination - Pokhara. Inbetween we stopped for a late lunch but we tried the river fish and its YUMMY....

Oh by the way, that's the very same day our dear Mr PM threw a resignation in due to a conflict... rumors of curfews or "bandha" but what the hack... we will not be disturbed bcos we are in the tourist area and up in the hills.....

Frankly, it was nice to be out of touch of the entire political issues besides all the different pollution.... Nice to be in the mist of the beautiful hills that My Father has created and set them in place...

Each day was about 5-7hrs track... everytime when we reached each tea lodge, we could see no view of the majestic mountain views due to the clouds... and there will be drizzles too... BUT... bcos of the rain, the very next morning greets us with the majestic view of the snow capped mountain ranges....

Our main destination is to reach PoonHill, 3210m above sea-level. The air was thin that morning and the cold wind blows... makes us want to give up to reached the peak but we persevered on. (we woke up 4plus to see the sunrise)

I really would like to try going up to ABC - Annapurna Base Camp... but i'm not too sure if loong will want to hahahhaah

Our own candlelight dinner...

I can trust Him for all my needs...even shoes

Today was watching G.TV and this guy shared about the lilies and birds are all taken care of... and how he was bless with a pair of shoes...

Indeed, I too can testify of that too...

Last yr, I wanted to get a pair of gd shoes -hiking shoes, so will be easier for me when i head up to the villages as I only had a pair of free-shoes from SAF - (brooks)... so i wore that day-in and day-out... and when monsoon hits last yr, I only had that pair of shoes. Wet shoes i was wearing everyday.... so uncomfortable as u know...

And just before monsoon hits real bad here, someone from Spore, bless me with a nice water-proof hiking shoes. Indeed He knows wat i need most...

And when my sis went to H.K, she too knew that i need a pair of gd shoes since i walked alot and is important for me to wear one.... she too bought me one....

I feel so bless and loved by people who bless me and of course the ultimate Giver...

I reflected on this, and indeed i'm here to live a life different for Him and to deliver a msg to the people here... there is this word that rings in me

"How beautiful are the feet of those...."

I know i'm taken care of by Him  and blessing me with shoes juz makes me want to walk extra miles just to deliver that msg i experienced!
